Checking out 'Chat'.

Well, you've probably already seen the adverts for the new 'Chat'- which is basically just the parties yet with more people now, and a new name.  I decided to go and check them out, and see if they were any better with more people.  This post is basically me recording what I found and you can save yourself from visiting a 'Chat' unless that's what you'd absolutely love to do...

First I went to the 'Party Lobby', which obviously hasn't been noticed yet by stardoll because I would've thought they'd have changed the name to something more along the lines of the 'Chat' theme, but nevermind.  You still have to be SS to create a 'Chat', so I decided to choose one to join.

I chose one called, 'exclusive fashion show', wondering whether or not it'd actually work as a fashion show, which would be quite interesting..  But no.  When I arrived there were only a couple of people already there, but people starting arriving, and the only too familiar lots of 'Hey!', 'Hi' whenever anyone new appeared started.  As the awkward pauses grew longer I was considering leaving, but then someone arrived and added something to talk about:

Considering the fact that this doll may need a little..  change or two, to say the least, made this more funny- and that her username was 'AngelKateg', focus on the Angel part...  Anyway, the arguments started, and they were slightly pathetic, but I was too lazy to leave, so I watched.

It was funny watching this all unfold, but it was still familar.  More of the similar events came along, too, with the entrance of a guy- and his greeting:

It was predictable, and it's usually predictable that all of the girls would huddle round the guy, plastering hearts all over him, but this didn't happen- this was the only surprise of this 'Chat', though...

The guy left, probably to find a place where he'd get a lot more attention, and with him left AngelKateg.  I knew by now that this was it for this 'Chat'.

This was proved when the owner of the 'Chat' suggested a photo, and I was just not interested in that.  For the record, I visited AngelKateg's suite to find her presentation to say: "hi the names AngelKatebecause i am a angel thats all i can think of later"

So that was kind of it for my 'Chat' experience.  I will grant it one thing, though- it's a lot easier to get into a room as more people are allowed in one- before I do remember you'd quite often get a message that came up saying the room was full- now it's super easy to get into a room, first time.

There is, as promised, now a link to 'Chat' on the main page, and there's also this little section on the first page that you can see on the left.  It's quite useful I guess if you like doing chats, and they are obviously popular considering the fact that there were 859 chats going on when I checked it!  What do you think about the chats?  Feel free to let me know in the comments!
