Make-up Look: Inspired by Rihanna.

Written by x.Summer.Love.x

Hiya guys.  So, I also found some other quite interesting things whilst looking through the starplaza- relating to the new hair-pieces being sold in Tress Up.  Thought I'd share it with you.  Take a look at the similarities between Rihanna's hair at the launch of a perfume recently, and the Sara Hair available from Tress Up:
Isn't that similar?!  It's got some of the exact same flicks and curls, too- which makes me wonder why it's called Sara Hair?  Let me know in the comments section if you know any more about this...  I also recognise her outfit, and I'm sure I saw something similar to it in Young Hollywood, but for some reason Young Hollywood isn't actually in the starplaza anymore?  Sad face.  Anyways, if it comes back and what I'm sure I saw is still there, I'll have to update you guys eh?  Anyway, when I saw this I decided to do a make-up tutorial, to completely match her look!  I started by putting on the hair and changing to match the hair colour.  If you're wanting a complete match, you can try this too, but I'll show you what you'll need to do the make-up, too.  Here's my take on her make-up look:

What do you think?  The hair does have blonde highlights which do make the hair a little too light, but Rihanna's actual hair does have some subtle highlights, so we'll just pretend that's what we're aiming for.  Anyway, here's what you'll need to recreate this make-up look:
It's actually quite expensive stardollar-wise, but that's mainly because of the LUXE lipgloss, but we all know LUXE is super expensive...  Also, remember this is just a suggestion of how to recreate the look, and you can obviously use whatever you like to copy Rihanna's look.    It also helps to have the same skintone- I didn't, but I think it'd probably look a lot better, and also more similar to Rihanna's look, if you seriously want a complete match!  Next I'll give you a quick description of how to actually do the make-up if you'd like to know- below is a close-up of the make-up to make it more clear.

Ok, so here's what you're going to need to do:
  1. Firstly, take the More Mocha Shade Stick, and line the eyes- barely go round the edges of the eyes.  Do the same with the More Mocha Eye Pencil, to line the eyes- round the outer edges of both eyes, and again, the exact same thing with the More Mocha Eyeliner.
  2. Next, take the Sienna Eyeshadow, and cover the complete area above the eyes, including the eyelids- just one layer: it needs to be subtle and light, yet visible.  Then, as a second layer, go over the eyelids again, to finally define the eyes.
  3. Use the Bold Brick Blush down the sides of the cheeks- I have highlighted sections of the cheeks from the beauty parlour.
  4. Now, use the Just Peachy Lipstick, over the lips- either one or two layers is fine.  Then go over it with the LUXE Lipgloss to finish the lips.
  5. Finally, finish the eyes with one layer of Lengthening Mascara.
And..  that's it!  What do you think?  Feel free to comment!
